LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- A Louisville woman who had a sexual encounter with University of Louisville men's basketball coach Rick Pitino, then tried to extort money from him, is speaking out about her upcoming sentencing.
Karen Sypher is scheduled to be sentenced in federal court on Friday afternoon.
Tonight at 6 p.m., she is expected to speak about her upcoming sentencing on WHAY 98.3 FM -- a radio station in Russell Springs, Ky. Sypher and her attorneys will appear on "Truth or Politics" for a one-hour interview before a live studio audience.
"They will reveal astonishing and disturbing new evidence of how they have exposed government corruption," a press release from WHAY states. "Evidence will be presented in this bizarre case where government officials and their agents have conspired to railroad a rape victim into prison, in order to protect a multi-million dollar corporate interest."
